"I have been a floutist for many years. A few years ago I took an interest in the science of simple pvc flute making. After experimenting with different materials, keys, etc. I have found a good formula for making a simple flute that has true intonation and is made from consistant and readily available material. Once I had a good prototype I produced the machining necessary to make production runs of the flute.
This is also my way of creating a small US Manufactured Item, which is something that I feel is necessary for the American Economy.

We make our pvc flutes from unprinted white PVC pipe, which is considered a relatively safe material, as you may recognize it's use in plumbing to carry drinking water.
Our flutes are accurately machined in our shop in Everett, WA, USA.
Our Key of G flute has a range of two octaves from the G above middle C to the G two octaves above that. The tone is sweet and mellow. It is played like a real concert flute by blowing transversely across the flute.
It makes a great travel instrument and is good for practicing embouchure and fingering for both beginning and advanced students.
